Remote Help for Your Computer

Your computer is running, but something is getting in the way of your work? Many Windows, macOS, software, and configuration issues can be resolved remotely over the internet — without an on-site visit. Save time while watching the work being carried out on your screen.

START HERE

Download the Remote Support Application

Select your computer's operating system:

Not sure how to start the application? View the instructions

After downloading, look for the same filename shown on the button in your browser's download list or Downloads folder. Launch the application only when your support session has been arranged with an iT5 specialist.

How Does Remote Support Work?

1 Download

Select Windows or macOS. If you need help opening the application, detailed instructions are provided below.

2 Arrange the Connection

At the agreed time, tell the specialist the computer ID and connection password shown in the application.

3 Follow the Work

The specialist assesses the situation and carries out the agreed actions on your computer.

What Can We Help You With?

Remote support is particularly useful when your computer turns on and has an internet connection, but you need software troubleshooting, a settings check, or assistance with everyday tasks.

  • Windows and macOSCommon system issues, settings, and updates.
  • SoftwareInstallation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Email and Office ApplicationsSettings for email applications, accounts, and document workflows.
  • Computer PerformanceChecking the causes of slowdowns, startup items, and system resource usage.
  • Security MattersAssessing suspicious applications, security settings, and updates.
  • Everyday AssistanceGuidance and help with using software and computer features.

Security and Your Control

The remote support application protects data transmitted during the connection using encryption. According to its developer, Supremo uses TLS 1.2 and AES-256 technologies. Only share your connection details with the iT5 specialist you have arranged the session with. You can see the actions being performed and end the session when needed.

Your privacy matters. Before the session, you can close personal documents and applications that are not needed for the work. Permanent access to your computer is not necessary for a one-time support session.

Support Duration and Pricing

Choose the required service duration above, in the product ordering section. The selected time and corresponding price will be shown there. If additional work is needed, we will agree on the next steps and the cost before continuing.

Remote support is suitable for software-related issues, but not every hardware fault. If the computer will not turn on, has no internet connection, or has a defective hardware component, on-site diagnostics or repair may be necessary.

GETTING STARTED

How Do I Start the Application and Connect?

If this is your first time using remote support, follow these steps. Start the connection only after arranging a support time with an iT5 specialist.

The application language may vary. Supremo may use the language of your computer or the language selected in its settings. Buttons and field names may therefore appear in English, Lithuanian, or another language. The English labels below are provided as a guide.

On a Windows Computer

  1. Download and open the application. Click the Windows download button above. Your browser will download R-Win.exe. Look for this exact filename in your browser's download list or Downloads folder. Open the downloaded file.
  2. Approve the Windows permission request, if prompted. Windows may ask, “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?” (User Account Control). If you have just downloaded the file yourself from iT5.lt and recognise the application, you can select Yes. If you see an unfamiliar security warning or are unsure about the file, do not bypass the warning — consult your iT5 specialist first.
  3. Accept the terms of use, if prompted. Supremo may display its terms of use when launched for the first time. You can read them before making your decision. If you agree, select the appropriate consent checkbox and click Accept, or the equivalent button in the language shown.
  4. Make sure the application is open and ready to connect. If you can see the main Supremo window, the application is open. Once it has connected to the internet and is ready for remote access, it should display your computer's ID and Password (sometimes labelled “Your ID” and “Password”). A green status indicator and the message “Ready for incoming connections”, or its translation, are usually shown.
  5. Tell your iT5 specialist the connection details. During your arranged conversation, read out the ID and Password displayed in the Supremo window. These are not your Windows, email, or online banking passwords. The specialist can then connect, and you can follow the actions on your screen.

On a macOS Computer

  1. Download and open the application. Click the macOS download button above. Look for R-Mac.dmg in your Downloads folder. Open the DMG file, move Supremo into the Applications folder, and launch it.
  2. Grant the required permissions. When you first use Supremo, macOS may request Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions. You can manage them under Privacy & Security in System Settings. Other permissions may be requested if needed. After changing these settings, you may need to restart Supremo.
  3. Check that Supremo is ready for a connection. In the Supremo window, find your computer's ID and Password (sometimes labelled “Your ID” and “Password”). When the application is ready to receive a connection, it may show a green status indicator. The exact wording can depend on the selected language.
  4. Give the connection details to the iT5 specialist. At the arranged time, read out the ID and session password shown by the application. Once the specialist connects, you can watch the support session.

If you cannot see the ID or password: make sure the main Supremo window is open and your internet connection is working. If the application shows an offline status or no connection details appear, consult your iT5 specialist.

When the support session ends: disconnect the remote session and close the application. A one-time support session does not require Supremo to start automatically or unattended access to remain enabled, unless you have expressly agreed to that beforehand.

Security reminder: only share your ID and session password with the iT5 specialist you have genuinely arranged the session with. Do not make these details public.
